the homebrew channel still needs a fat partition in order to find programs correct? you cant just have an entire ntfs hard drive and have other homebrew load up, via HBC, correct?

Forgot to mention:

- .wbfs files on NTFS work too.

- .wbfs files are not limited to 4GB on NTFS

- sparse .iso files on NTFS work (tested)

- .iso files on FAT should work too if the partitions are compacted (moved down) and the file is trimmed to a size smaller than 4GB for example there are some forwarder .isos for various homebrew apps which i think could be just copied over to a fat partition (I haven't tried it though)

Ogzee and Wiipower.
I only have one word for you :

I'm not real up on HBC, I jhave it installed, but \don't use it a whole lot, because all I do is use CFGUSB Loader to play games.
I use HBC to load FTPii to transfer stuff from the PC to the Wii.

Can you run HBC from the Fat partition on the USB drive or does it still need to be on an SD card?

Thanks'

cfg v50b (beta)

* .iso files on NTFS support
The file name layout is the same as for .wbfs files:
/wbfs/gameid.iso or /wbfs/gameid_title/gameid.iso

Calling you, usptactical, and WiiPower gods is an understatement.

EDIT: Just wondering, will there be support for Hermes's new method for BCA loading (sd:/bca_database.txt)? Not that it's a must-have feature...

Incredible. I don't need a SD card at all anymore.

Between, HBC running apps off the Fat partition and Wiiload I can run anything directly off my PC or from the USB drive.

I know it's a little thing, but it makes me happy

I tested a few ISOs on NTFS with 50b. No problems so far.

Have you tested anything over 4GB?

Oggzee said in an earlier post that the program would lock up when trying to play a file that is over 4GB.

Ant Tee Farking Ass supported??? Holy momma!!!

Too bad HBC program files can put into the same NTFS partition as the iso partition.
HBC need FAT partition...

Not yet, I must've missed that post.

Will it lock up when you try to play it, or only while accessing the parts over 4 gig?

ISO support is cool but smaller games like mario on an ISO is a big waste of space... just my 2 cents

Here is a new one (for me).

I just soft modded my friends Wii, I installed HBC, bootmii, then Trucha Bug, then 222, 223, 202, then 249 rev 15. I have CFG v50 FAT loading from the USB Hard drive just fine via HBC or via the forwarder Channel. And finally I installed Priiloader .30 and installed the CFG forwarder for Preloader.

Everything works fine, except for the CFG via PriiLoader. It DSI Errors with the stack trace if I have PriiLoader launch it.

Any thoughts from anyone, I am doing the same thing on my Wii and it works great. But I have installed many different versions of cIOS' over time and I'm not sure if I'm missing an IOS...

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Jake
