Hi, I'm discovering the joys of owning a Wii in the year of 2026. Better late than never. Been playing the NTSC Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64 a bunch, and there's this annoying audio distortion that's hard to ignore throughout the game, like the audio is crackling. It's most noticable in the end credits. This video I found on youtube shows it off as well, so I know the issue isn't just on my end: (45:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work) I was surprised how nobody online seems to have discussed this over the years. Has anyone else noticed this or similar issues on other n64 VC releases? Is the cause known? Out of curiosity, I did try the PAL Lylat Wars release, and the audio was perfectly fine in that one.

Known bugs: - Toggling the sound OFF hangs the emulator. - Saves are not working. (since 20260729 build) (FIXED in build 20260811B) - Title name on the game list disappears when it finishes scrolling. - Have at least 24 games. Position the cursor in slot 000, 001, 002, 003, or 004, press right to go down one page. Now keep pressing Up like you wanted to go back to slot 014 or further, the list won't scroll, but the names will. You will only notice visually if you have your covers assigned. - When you launch the emulator from USB, games/art on the device will be ignored if a SD card is also inserted with the same Z-GX folder structure. SD will be prioritized. - When you launch the emulator from USB, and there is a SD card inserted without the Z-GX folder structure present, it will DSI crash. - 12 seconds pause before the game starts booting, affects build 20260811B. - Cover files do not load when you start the emulator from a USB device, yet it will load them if a SD card with the files is inserted before emulator launch. (FIXED in build 20260803B) - 240p.txt file is not detected or generated when you launch the emulator from a USB device. (FIXED in build 20260803A) - 240p mode is not working when you launch the emulator from a USB device. i heard a rumor that there were different conduit isos going around and one didnt have wii speak. can someone confirm this? because im not sure about the one i have. people in the matches i play have wii speak and so do i yet my mic says its off? its confirmed in game but the mic isnt lit. help?

All ISO's of The Conduit have WiiSpeak...

You can only WiiSpeak with people on your friends list, Ninty doesn't want you to talk to strangers because you could ear rape a kid with your voice!
