Suggestion Compressing Profile Reply Notifications

I know the site has bigger problems right now, but wanted to get this suggestion on paper at least. I don't think this is an issue that's new to the site update, but it's one on my mind with the raging discussion happening right now. I refresh the page and I have nine, ten new individual notifications. This differs from the thread reply notifications where you get the "There may be more replies after this" tag and just a single notif. It's not helped by the fact there's also no way to unwatch a profile message once you've responded, so I'm in it for the long haul lol.

Might be missing something or bot understanding your original claim (and if I'm missing something, im my defence I haven't slept in 24+ hours) but is this what you're needing?

Does that fully disable all notifications for profile comment replies? My page looks a little different is all:

I do still want to be notified of a profile comment reply, it's just I'd only want one notification until I read the reply, like how it works with threads.

To be honest I don't know because notifications are either hit or miss for me, and it's actually been like this since the old "2.0" update.

I sometimes get notifications on comments, likes, replies, quotes and sometimes not, independent of how I have alerts configured... so I stopped caring when I noticed that alerts from my side were essentially broken.

I think an Admin should clarify your question more precisely.
