At an educated guess I'd say yes, as long as you can turn off any spindown feature (power saving). I'd say it all depends on if you trust you will get the drive, I don't really know US retailers and have never heard of FRYS
Lol the price is what im trippin on to its a great price and i have been looking everywhere for a good but inexpensive usb hard drive ill try this one out and let all you know if it should be another to add to the list or not.
