So i allready have a nice big sata drive to store files on, so i was looking to buy just a sata-usb converter. Is it safe to buy just about any one (the cheapest) or do i have to be very specific? i live in the UK can anyone recommend me one or perhaps even a link to where i can buy it from?

I got a nice little AKASA external enclosure for my SATA HDD. I gutted it and Modded it into my Wii stand (there was a tutorial on here somwhere on how to do it). That works perfect and the best thing about it is that I can connect my HDD to my PC via E-Sata and transfer games even faster.

I'll be recieving a SATA enclosure by Rosewill pretty soon. I'll try to remember to let you know how it goes, though I don't expect any problems.

I've been using thermaltake black x sata docks, works great with my wii and my WDTV, no complaints, no spindown problems.
