(there is a bug currently where the directional Down is always pressed) (Fixed in build 20260801) Notes for Z-GX: App folder: root://apps/ZGX/ Covers folder: root://ZGX/art 128x192 PNG with the same exact name as your game file. BIOS folder: root://ZGX/bios/bios.bin Games folder: root://ZGX/games Games can be CHD or CUE+BIN, the latter is the most compatible, some games do not work on CHD yet. Backup RAM folder: root://ZGX/saves - Since build 20260803B and onwards, 240p mode is enabled by pressing Z+Y (Gamecube controller) / ZL+ZR (Wii Classic Controller / Wii U Pro Controller) on the emulator menu. This will create an empty 240p.txt file inside root://ZGX. It will delete it again when you disable it. Reload the emulator to save the setting and activate it on next boot. - The 4M RAM cartridge is always OFF at boot. Enable it only when your game needs it. Recommended BIOS: Saturn USA 1.00 (most compatible) Controls - emulator game list: D-pad Up/Down = move through the list Hold D-pad Up/Down = continuous scroll (fast) D-pad Left/Right = jump by page A = start selected game B = exit to loader L+R = toggle 4M RAM cartridge ON/OFF Z+Y = toggle 240p for supported displays (Gamecube controller) ZL+ZR = toggle 240p for supported displays (Wii Classic Controller / Wii U Pro Controller) Controls - in-game: Start+Z = exit game back to emulator (Gamecube controller) Home = exit game back to emulator (Wii Classic Controller / Wii U Pro Controller) L+R+Start = toggle sound (muting gains some fps) . Shows "SND OFF". QoL suggestions for Z-GX: - 4:3 or stretched 16:9 aspect ratio setting. - Enable/Disable FPS counter. (it is always enabled) - Sub-folders support. - Long name autoscroll on the list could be a bit faster. (IMPLEMENTED in build 20260803A) - Option to pick any Saturn BIOS file. - Turbo toggle to fast-forward. - Selection of RAM/ROM cartridge type to use. Known bugs: - Toggling the sound OFF hangs the emulator. - Saves are not working. (since 20260729 build) - Title name on the game list disappears when it finishes scrolling. - Have at least 24 games. Position the cursor in slot 000, 001, 002, 003, or 004, press right to go down one page. Now keep pressing Up like you wanted to go back to slot 014 or further, the list won't scroll, but the names will. You will only notice visually if you have your covers assigned. - When you launch the emulator from USB, games/art on the device will be ignored if a SD card is also inserted with the same Z-GX folder structure. SD will be prioritized. - When you launch the emulator from USB, and there is a SD card inserted without the Z-GX folder structure present, it will DSI crash. - Cover files do not load when you start the emulator from a USB device, yet it will load them if a SD card with the files is inserted before emulator launch. (FIXED in build 20260803B) - 240p.txt file is not detected or generated when you launch the emulator from a USB device. (FIXED in build 20260803A) - 240p mode is not working when you launch the emulator from a USB device. Just wanted to see if we could get a thread going with peoples results. Please list burner/media/chip/write speed/program used and game.

Excite truck: No problems played for a few hours
Tony Hawks: Sound skips whilst people talking before event start.
NFS: Carbon: No problem.
Splinter Cell: No problem played for 30 mins
Open Season: No problems played for 30 mins

GC games:
Mario Kart Double Dash(NTSC): No problem played for a few hours
Mario Golf(NTSC): No problem played for a few hours
Mario Party 7(NTSC): No problem played for a few hours
Donkey Konga(PAL): No problem played for an hour
Donkey Kong 2(PAL + NTSC): Crashes at title screen
Mario Sunshine(PAL): Crashes at title screen
LoZ Four Swords(PAL): No problem played for an hour
MGS: Twin Snakes(PAL) No problem played for half an hour
