this may mean me actually going onto facebook regulary if this actually happens
This project's success hinges severely on people not getting fed up with Facebook in the meantime and flocking to the next social networking fad site.
Great idea, though.
How will this run on a flash-based website? This should be fun and interesting.
Requiments (just for the fun):
1GB of Space
Where does that say Command and Conquer is coming to Facebook?
Seems interesting, could play it if it comes.
In my defense, I never actually read the article.
It's probably going to be the original C&C.
Or hopefully, Red Alert.
Tiberiumville? It's just a made-up thing by the authors, I think. A joke.
(Like Command & Conquer 3 - Tiberium Wars)
And the article says nothing about Facebook C&C...
It's only about social networking in C&C, almost like what Blizzard is pushing with their Battle.net 2.
If there really is a C&C coming to Facebook, it won't be Red Alert 3, as the "screenshot" shows.
Should edit the post, because it has not been confirmed. Not even hinted at. The Facebook reference just gives an example of a social-based game.
"What you're seeing with all the social gamers on Facebook... they are actually already playing strategy games whether they know it or not. Taking a franchise like Command and Conquer and expanding it to a wider audience is part of the strategy."
He's explaining how the social aspects of the game help, with an example using "the gamers on Facebook" (Who, in my eyes, are not gamers)
And his thing about no one ever bring social aspects to a RTS is misleading, as Blizzard announced Battle.net 2 will have heavy social features.
If there ever is a C&C for Facebook, it'll be shit, just like any other game on Facebook (except Happy Aquarium )
That would be a good productivity killer and you people may want to kiss your good grades goodbye because good PC games and Facebook don't mix.
