Hacking Combining split ROM files from personal dump for Sky3DS?

So I used the Gateway Browser exploit to dump my copy of Bravely Default and I used the following command...

copy /b ROM.3D0 + ROM.3D1 ROM.3DS

when trying to start the ROM after writing the final ROM on my Sky3DS, an error message pops up: "Game card could not be read". Any ideas how to get around this?
