Colors! v1.1

Hmm...on a DSLite (loading Colors! through iMenu) I got no such error message. When deleting the colors.xml and calibration dat and reloading it through DS_Game, I got it. Must be something odd to do with the loader. I wouldn't worry about it since they both use the same DLDI.
QUOTEBetter homebrew compatibility [than] the official menu

Spinal said himself that iMenu improves compatibility, I don't know how, but it does.
Blox Avoid 1.0 wouldn't work on official loader, but it does on iMenu

dldi patching on the scds2 has issues depending on how you launch the homebrew file. some homebrew launched from shortcuts on the dsi/xl will not properly patch, where the same homebrew launched the same way on the ds lite works fine. i discussed this in the reivew. the dsi/xl does not have a pressure sensitive touch screen, unlike the ds phat/lite. something like 1 game used it and a few homebrew projects, its no wonder nintendo took it out.

Are you people kidding me? That picture is horrible? Wat
It may not be pretty in the sense of a photograph of a person, but it's still pretty amazing for something that has been painted in a DS Homebrew application.
Even if it isn't beautiful, its' still some very impressive art.

I only learnt about colors from a friend about a month ago, so it's cool to see this new update come out now.

Good god, if people don't like the picture so much, just Adblock it or something.

Anyway, I can't draw for shit, but I recognize how awesome Colors! is. It's also kinda fun to just screw around in it sometimes, so I'll grab it for sure.

Awesome improvements to the interface, and the new brush options open up so many possibilities... it's just too bad my R button went bad, I was excited about the undo feature

I just wish there would be one final update to UAPaint, to fix the freezing on saves. Oh BassAceGold, where art thou?!

edit: Also, that's a great picture, what the hell is wrong with all of you?

You can customize the buttons and map "undo" to some other button.

Tried it out, doodled a bit. Turns out I can't draw, and I don't have the patience (or the knowledge) to do all the shading and coloring and lighting effects that would turn my wobbly scribbles into tomething good. Oh well

Seriously my first painting on colors!:

Which one do you guys like more?
I like the second one there better for the most part.

The shading on the skin of the apple looks really nice. Good texture and shine.
The edges are a bit rough where the apple meets the grey background. Work on that a bit more and it'll be really good!

Hehe, first thing I tried painting with it was an Apple too!
Can't seem to upload from my DS. It goes really slowly and doesn't seem to get past purple in the progress bar.
It's good that they let you upload via the website too though.
Here's my apple:

Excellent point, I hadn't delved into the changes enough to find that out

I'm pretty sure Nintendo removed the pressure sensitive screen from the DSi.
I remember Colors!. I always played around with it. I was never able to draw anything good, though.
