Gaming coins?

you know the coins you earn (at the top of the main menu) from the number of steps you walk when in sleep mode....where can you spend these?/what are some of the things you can buy?....anyone used them yet? i have 50 so far.

You can spend them in the Mii Plaza to get puzzle pieces or to hire new heros to venture forth in Street Pass Quest and you can also use them in DoAimensions to unlock costumes etc.

I spent some of them on those, but I currently have 300 (the maximum) because I can't be bothered to spend them.

So far, I've only spent them on built in software like Find Mii and Puzzle something, Nintendo needs to get on the ball about getting Play coins integrated in all retail games. I have 600 coins that have been sitting around for months.

As soon as you collected 5000 Coins, you will get an Candlelight Dinner with Miyamoto and Iwata.

Basically what everyone else has said.

In Mii plaza for:
- Hiring heroes for the Streetpass Quest (2 coins per hero)
- Buying puzzle pieces. (2 Coins per piece)

You can also buy some more tools/mini games in the Augmented Reality channel/app/game/thing. Some tools cost 1 coin, others can be as much as 10 coins. (I think)

I'm sure I've read something about Nintendo having said that they're looking into improving the Mii Plaza / Streetpass experience in the future. So maybe we could do more with our coins when the time comes.
