Haven't been feeling okay-ish lately and I think it's because I don't consume enough sugar. So, today for a change:
Black Coffee with Coffee Mate

Not my favourite, I'm already used to the strong taste of plain black coffee, but it's not bad. It's like it wants to be a bit sweet but can't.
Not my favourite either, don't think I'll try it again.

Been on a diet of sorts lately, so my usual brew of a few spoonfuls of instant coffee plus a pint of milk has become a sometimes thing, not a three times a day thing. So I'm reduced to drinking the instant coffee straight up and lemme tell you... it's a good thing I have those emergency caffeine pills because UGH.

In unrelated news, I'm in the market for a moka pot.

I have not considered coffee with milk yet. I may have to experiment tomorrow morning and make it. Do you just make a good cup of coffee and add it to milk, or heat it with the milk somehow?

A panela? Really? Ain't that a $h1tt0n of sugar?

Use a panela for Café de Olla instead, boil water with your panela, cinnamon and coffee grains. Best coffee ever.

Yeah but is more sugar cane juice, is not refined sugar and it's not so harmful as the white one. For more than 200 years has been a source of energy for people at my country

Even recently had been some scientific studies aboit why the "panela" do not trend to cause diabetes as the refined sugar does. Still on development but promising

Ah right!
Panela/Piloncillo is purer.

If you're going for a standard milk drink like a latte, you make a good cup of coffee, warm up some milk separately, and then mix to taste. Adjust the ratio however you like.

I don't drink coffee every day, and never more then 2 cups within a 24hr period (otherwise I'll start to get anxious and jittery). In any case, I almost always use a filter / drip machine and take it with a healthy dose of milk and sugar to hide the bitterness.
