I can't be for certain but decrypt9 will overwrite most of your firmware with ctr-transfer anyway. It's just when you restore that old 9.2 firmware and try to upgrade, there might be an issue. But if you already have a9lh, you can "do over" if there's an issue. Just save your NANDmin.bin and keep it in a safe place. The guide should cover that.

So. I'm currently on 2.1.0, I don't have a useable nand backup.. but it says that I can just update my cfw sysnand to the lastest version with the system settingss....

Already have, but it says firmware not supported. It's the 3.2 version and I use an old 3ds, that link says new 3ds only.

i'd recommend making backups still at this stage and if your still afraid of further bricks, Look into getting it hardmoded.

it installs a Direct Connectin to the 3DS NAND chip so that should you Hose even A9LH or it gets overridden, you can quickly restore.

as for the NTR problem, get the 3.2 Release and this BootNTR: https://github.com/astronautlevel2/BootNTR/releases it'll work for old and New 3DS on FW 11.0

(the "N3DS only" was a special version of BootNTR, that supported a few extra features, but put ntr.bin at the root of the SD card and install that linked BootNTR version and your good as gold, for cheats look up NTR Cheat plugins and they will go in SD:\plugins\TITLEID\pluginname.plg

just you haveto use the BootNTR app when you want to use plugins (though i seem to haveto power cycle when switching games, )

what you're trying to do is probably possible already through other means. like VC injections can be done separately (build your own CIA with the game), RAM editing/injection/things (you can just dump the save and edit that, or use NTR CFW), etc.

if you really want to, you can still downgrade the browser.
