Hacking cMIOS rev5 out now

Nope, the only wiis that currently have v3.7 is my wii, and damysteryman's wii.

And I use MIOS v4 as it it action replay compatible. The others are not (unless wanin patched them to be compatible, like wiigator did).

Works fine!

Up next for testing: Luigi's Mansion PAL, and Metroid Prime PAL (not sure which version this is though).

Unfortunately PSO Ep 1&2 still doesn't seem to work. I've tried it through the disk channel (cIOSCorp 3.6) and the GC Backup Launcher, with all of the settings that seemed appropriate (NTSC, the "Start" one, Auto detect)

If anyone gets better results, please let me know. The hope that it would work now is the main reason I was looking forward to this!

Use 249 to install it with, but it will install in MIOS's place... (I am pretty sure....)

So did this application ask you what IOS to use? If thats the case IOS249 is a good choice..

Let the installer run under IOS249, and it ill install MIOS into, well, MIOS's slot, which is 257.

Tested Luigi's Mansion PAL:
Works fine!

Tested Metroid Prime PAL:
Works fine!

Next up for testing is The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition, both PAL and USA versions.

Wonder if multidisc games work in 0.2 now, I'll try out PSO Episode 1&2 also to see if that works.

Multigame discs have always worked in 0.2. Or at least they have for me, anyway.

He means games like metal gear solid I think which uses two discs.

Those have worked in 0.2 also.

Meant multigame disc, lol. For some reason when I put in a multigame disc into 0.2 it gets a gray screen and when I launch it the game is gray screen, using NTSC discs and a US tv; heard it was a problem with the cmios. PSO1+2 still not working and the multigame disc thing still happens to me.

Just tested, and:

Tested The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition PAL:
Got Blackscreen when trying to load normally.
Holding down GC B button to access menu, then pressing GC A button to autopatch video mode gets to the game's main menu, but when you select a game, the game will just hang, without a TV input signal, when it tries to load the game you want to play.

Tested The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition USA:
Exactly the same probs as The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition PAL

These games needed WiiGator's cMIOS's rebooter featuire to work properly, but wanin's cMIOS doesn't have this feature...

So, wanin's cMIOS isn't compatible with these 2 games...

Next 2 for testing are The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures PAL and Wario World PAL.
