This should be called Smash Bros Ultimate and have a TON of characters from games, anime, hell movies and comics even.
Just put everything in, have a bunch of sprite makers work on all that stuff.

And they could be releasing character packs and stage packs as "DLC"

man this has so much potential if done right

There's no point in making a -Super Smash Bros- game if it contains "a TON of characters from games, anime, hell movies and comics even". It's just be a generic fighter with characters from things that don't fit. Especially characters from other games, whose controls would have to be changed and make the fighting that more unbalanced and awkward.

That makes NO SENSE. (unless he rides a Knightmare frame).
I think, to keep fanboys from whining, the Anime characters should be Goku, Naruto, Ichigo and Luffy. NO ONE ELSE.
Also where the hell is RIDLEY?

Edit: Also, if they add said anime characters, their stage should be the "Jump Manga" stage from Jump Ultimate Stars.

the last SSB homebrew (SSB Rumble) was shot down by Nintendo. I hope this one doesn't also get killed.

The homebrew name isn't an obvious target for nintendo so it should be safe for now.
