I agree; this is the best location for a discussion thread; so we won't be completely derailing people in every other thread

He literally is better unless you want to contribute.
Either way sarcasm wasted on germans.
No that doesn't mean he's better. That may make him a better coder, but that doesn't make him a better person, and sure as hell doesn't mean he can talk to people like he was. But we're past this so move on

So, just to clarify, this is something that is an internalized project. I mean, there's no version control service in use here, or none that is public facing?

They are working on it, and they will release it/make pull requests when it will be done. It's easier for them, and it will prevent people from compiling versions that could brick their 3DS.

That's understandable, but surely not everyone who asks to look at some code intends to build said non-complete code and then attempt to run it on a device with no means of recovery. Just was 'clarifying'.

>Didn't ask for a release.
>Didn't ask if they were working on it or not, I assumed somebody was doing something.

Last edited by sl0ps,
It's like that with all coding, pretty much. When it has to do with getting something free.

"HE ADDED A COMMENT NEXT TO THE HAX CODE, HOLY SHIT, HAX COMING IN 2 MINUTES! I JUST CAME ALL OVER MY KEYBOARD! UAHHHUEHU"

**EDIT** I'm dumb and this guy makes a good point.

Sorry, I didn't really understand what you asked, because you were asking something about VCS ? They are not putting it on GitHub to don't have what's happening now with Steveice10's commits

Oh goodness, you're so adorable. Heaven forbid that others might have anything to contribute to the source. I'm sure all the best minds are already on it, and wouldn't like any other people to even research anything.
What? I don't think he's talking about those who are actually contributing, I think he's referring to people who get hyped over every single commit and shitpost all over the thread.

You're fine. And THAT makes it clear enough for me to get.

Yeah... I realized that pretty shortly after I posted. Ah well. I didn't mean it to be too bitter...
