you mean to tell me that you can play all of the guitar hero games (14 lol) on expert with no lag with cIOS36 rev10 launched from usb loader!?!?!?

I have tried 5 diff hard drives!!!!!!!!!!! please clarify!!

have you tried syncing them within the game itself? under config or whatever it's called. because i had to do that too but i haven't tried from the usb yet, just originals (GH3 and Aerosmith) and I had to config them both for my TV.

yes i have run the config sync thing... game works fine on disc.. just usb loader GX newest version.. (actually any variant of USB loader)... Have tried 5 diff hard drives varying from 80 gigs to 1 terabyte... maxtor western digital.. seagate... all have same result.. song starts out great.. but then desyncs more and more as song progresses

Here is what i experienced testing Rev12 a couple days ago, spent about 2 hours testing it.

First off, i noticed it took longer for Coverflow RC3 USB Loader to load. Seemed to take about twice as long as what i was used to it taking. First attempt to load a game from usb just froze when I pressed LOAD button. After that the System Menu froze right after loading. Overall random freeze/crashes were very frequent. I probably had to hold in the power button to reset the machine about every 5 or 10 minutes, maybe more often than that.

I spent about an hour trying different combinations of Instruments and configuration of Rock Band 2. The good news is I was able to get USB microphone to be recognized and work about 50% of the time I booted the game. The bad news is the USB guitar and drums were never recognized. The even badder news is the network would not connect in game, which would cause the game to either freeze or simply not allow most of the game modes to work. As soon as I reinstalled Rev10 network resumed working in-game.

I haven't heard from anybody else who tested it but I would expect them to have similar experiences. I would have to say based on my experience from a build a couple days ago that it still has some issues to be ironed out. The stability was bad enough that after testing I immediately reinstalled Rev10.
Look who's wanky's tester now, way to go Jizmo...!!

it may be the loader, I used the coverfloader to test the EA Sports Active, and in the 4 or 5th exercise, it did some nasty shit, and I was like "...Damn the game is not compatible and I wasted 1 day downl....err......buying it...", and then I burned and tested the DVD (to be sure it was a good burn) and then I tested the game with the Oggzee's configurable loader, and hell it didn't gave me any error at all, and I saw somewhere in the topic some fella' that said that oggzee's loader as better compatibility than some other loader he was using, who knows, maybe it was an AC error on my Wii, but I always used oggzee's and I'll keep using it, I just tryed coverfloader to see the glamour for a while...!!

So does all this mean there will be a USB Loader 1.6 release soon after by Waninkoko?

no, don't think so, nothing in rev12 needs a new usbloader

GH games work perfect for me. No lag.

cIOS36 rev10
USB Loader GX
Western Digital My Book Essential Edition 750GB HDD

Just a quick +1 from me, I have an almost identical setup (using a 500GB drive, WD My Book Essential) and also have no problems at all with any of the Guitar Hero games.

yup. I'm using a LaCie 750gig USB HDD, split into 250gig wbfs and 500gig fat. Using Waninkoko's latest USB loader. I don't have any system hacks installed, such as BootMii or Preloader. I don't have any IOS202 or anything specifically for usb2.0 either. Though I will mention that cIOS 10 would result in some games freezing for me, so I moved to the cIOS 11 from SoftMii. And yes, playing on expert, of course. :-) I've had issues playing from DVD, where a song would be out of sync right at the beginning, but restarting the song always fixed that.

Rev 12 might set you straight. Or if you just can't wait, grab the rev 11.

Well, it's 2:25PM Eastern US time on Saturday... so far nothing...

Since Wanin is in Spain, and it's 8:25PM there, doubt it will be released today...

I had a feeling this is fake... and I guess I was right!

So, Wanin is going to wait till 10PM local time to release it? Sounds doubtful...

It's possible. Waninkoko seems to release all of this stuff late into the evening.

This. I remember that the USB Loader came out late (well, late for his time zone).
