Homebrew CIOS not staying loaded

I just installed d2x v6 into Slot 251, I load it with Multi-Mod-Manager, but when I exit out it reverts to Slot 249 (Which has cios 56) in Neogamma and in the Homebrew channel says I'm on IOS58 so I am officially confused on what's going on.

It's been a while since I've tampered around with my Wii so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

The homebrew channel uses IOS58 to run, I doubt you are going to change that. The homebrew channel has nothing to do with cIOS. Do you even know what's installed to slot 249 and 250? You can look and see with syscheck.
