does anyone know how to import a custom icon into a cia file or installed app

Decrypt the CIA, unpack it, unpack the exefs.bin, put in a new icon.bin, and repack it.

You can do this in GodMode9, choose the CIA, CIA options, mount to drive, get the new icon.bin, and place it there, deleting the old one. Repack it and install it.

when i try to paste it says not allowed in virtual game path

Oh neat, I hadn't tried mounting cias yet, good to know you can do that.
I assume you can't edit the icon of installed titles. Correct?
Only .cias on the SD card at that moment?

I get 'Insert content failed' when repacking with TMD option.
