Hardware Choosing a new laptop.

Well, I've asked for a new computer this year for Christmas, as my cousin lost my old one.
I'm not a very "techy" person and need some advice.
I've got a spending limit of say 500 dollars.
I don't need anything too special - just a DVD burner, videocard that can play World of Warcraft (decent amount of RAM with that), around 80gb hard drive (I need ROMS and ISOs, yo), Wireless Wi-Fi card built-in (for Internet, of course).

I generally just need advice in choosing a new laptop, what laptop you own (price range), and little tidbits of information, I guess.
