ROM Hack Question Checkpoint - Copying Save Data to Another Account?

Hello! So I've got a question regarding save-data, I have one switch profile with some 100% save games. However, I have a different account with complete save-games also. My question is, would it be safe if I copied the 100% save data from one profile and replaced the incomplete save data on the other? Using Checkpoint?
