Gaming checking legit iso's

i downloaded an iso and burned it at 4x and 2.4x (2.4 by accident) and wasted HEAPS of discs and now i dont have any, so i was wondering if its the iso, so how can i check if its legit?

OMG OMG OMG OMG i went down to the store and bought 3 dvd+r disks, i read the posts on "can dvd+r disks play backups" and now....IT WORKED WOOOO WEEEEE THANK YOU THANK YOU GBATEMP THANK YOU EVERYONE WOOOOOOEEEEEEEE
