Hacking Cheats not working

I added the .nds file in the program, right clicked and checked the Cheats box, found the .scc file and then hit out, and put all 3 files on my card and started playing.

None of the cheats seem to work, whether I turn them on before I start the game or during.

I tried the cheats with Pokemon Platinum as well as Soul Silver. Any idea why they aren't working?

some of the codes might require you to press certain button

I have the old DS. They were activated (green) when I turned on the game.

It is the Cheats that are for the Rom...It's just that most cheats for Supercard tend to not work. You might as well wait for the EOS (Evolution OS - New Firmware) to come out.

Is your NDSinfo.dat updated? And did you name the SCC to the name of Pokemon Platinums release number, 3541?

It is not BS, that is the nature of the SCC cheat system. This doesn't apply to all games, only a few.

i hope that the new firmware would address all the cheat issues
especially compatibility
so it will be less painful for all existing SCDS1 users

We will all know when they decide to release the new EOS and SCDS2, if it lives up to thier previous statement that we can use normal cheat.dat files. Having so many scc files chews up time copying all those files over to a new microSD.

I heard that the Cheat System from EOS was not really that good. Some cheats worked, well, most of them, and only a few cheats worked. I think it's getting fixed. I hope they do fix it, or else it won't be a big improvement.

If you heard about some thing that was not released yet, that is called a rumor, even from a "beta user". So wait until it is offically released and you actually have one in hand before passing on someone else's rumor.

I see, sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you were saying every game had a DS and a DSi version of the cheats.

I have a DSOnei, just so you know. It's got even more problems with some games/cheats/homebrew than the DSOne.

I'm using the EOS now anyways, so excuse me if I forgot something about the latest SCC cheats. T.T
