Hacking Cheating?

Hello guys so, As some of you may know I've got my 3ds hard modded, downgraded and with cfw and homebrew installed, and now I've go a few questions.
I was wondering if there's any way to use codes like the old Gameshark/action replay codes that were used on the DS? I heard that Gateway works for this, but I need the flashcart to use it, right? Or can I run just the software? (can you guys point me to a guide?)
Is there any other way to cheat?
Keep in mind that I don't use official game cartridges, I just install the CIAs.

1. If on old 3DS and downgraded, then you can use spider QR codes.
2. NTR allows cheats, with plugins, but I haven't had any luck with finding them.

HOw does these spider QR codes work?

From what I understand you start your game, then you go to home menu (Leave the game running) and start the camera.. Then you go to the qr code reader, and it scans the codes and injects into the RAm the cheat you want.

It allows you to use gateshark codes which you can find here: http://www.fort42.com/gateshark/
You can also use the plugin-cheats if you find them
