so the original word codes for Bloodrayne 1 still work. at this point, im thinking it an emulator with enhanced graphics. the laggy input tells me this.....
ive just grabbed these, lets see if they have "remastered textures" as so many seem to claim these days when they "port" the exact same game, but takes advantage of running on better hardware with higher resolution, but the textures remain the same.
but the sheep all call you stupid, its not a port, its a remaster, when you say no, a remaster would mean its textures have been remastered and they'll call you stupid again and say no that is a remake.... no, a remake is for example Resident Evil 2, and then it goes on and they'll call you stupid again and say no, thats a reboot..... sigh, no a reboot is the likes of Tomb Raider, DmC where they take a franchise and give it a reboot, taking it in a new direction rather than recycling a previous game.
The likes of GTA The Definately Don't is a remaster, tho a poor job at that with clearly no testing before release, yet again another example of lazy devs these days rushing its game and thinking its acceptable to make gamers wait for updates at a later date to fix the game......... I just hope the physical copies of the game when it launches includes these bug fixes and not been even more lazy and just pressing the same version to disc/cart and expect gamers to download the bug fixes.
back in the old days we had a thing called QA testing and by law products had to be fit for its purpose, but the amount of games we see these days that launch with game breaking bugs or prevent you from playing it as intended, you were by law entitled to return the faulty game to them for a replacement that is free from defects, but theyre able to find a loop hole and get away with releasing crap by saying they will fix it with an update download.
only problem with this is, in 30 years time, will they still be hosting these bug fix updates, or will the console company still be in business and have its online services still active, or will you be left with a game by default is littered with game breaking bugs and defects.
and unlike the good old days, you can just slap your game in, turn the console on and play it. you wont be able to do with it todays games, no wonder more look towards piracy when your paying more and more for a game each time a new console comes out and the quality gets worse and worse.
