Do you know what exactly the Active character pointer is for? Just for the following codes?

so because of the moonjump, dash, size, and ghost mode are tied to the active character, eiffel2018 had originally found the way to get to the active character, which was [main+xxxxx]+(character id*8+138], then the other codes would work from that. the problem was getting the character id and doing the math to be added to the main pointer.....

It's like a Master Code Code you can also put it in {} Brackets....

It is used to setup the other Codes...

With enough time, i probably could re-write the codes into a format that does that.
(im holding off on that because they are not my codes).
But, if i did that, it wouldnt be as easier to update or follow. it looks like the coder updated the sp code first, because that pointer is used again in the active character setup pointer code, then they filtered out something(, which i dont know.) and only then did the x8.

One of my favourite games. Your code is slightly off but it will still work it will give you 231 (The "3" in your code is not doing anything). The most expensive thing is 300 rupees. But you don't need to buy it. The 3 wallet sizes are 99, 200 and 500. If you want to use any number above 255, then you must change the address of your code.

You can use them for everything that has a common Pointer Base.

Copy the Base Address and the immediate Offsets that are always the Same
into a separate Register and use them as Base...
