Back up your Game Save before using any EMMI cheat code

the EMMI invincible cheat and Optantic NO KO cheat one of them if saved while they are enabled, you render your game save useless
you no longer can use L button to Aim in any direction, EMMI will be invincible to all damage even after a full console restart and cheats are off, i do have a master cheat list with all Author cheats, including speedfly, also Kaito B deleted his Unlock all skills cheat, it was already broken, his infinite Auto Beam Charge conflicts with invisible cloak, EMMI will instantly find you, there is no Turn off Code, make an off code for it if you enter AMMI zones

one other cheat will make Key Items or upgrades impossible to pick up

GamerJin made new amazing cheats, maybe JinKazama0012 can steal them again and take credits

maybe ill share a names only list with safe cheats,

game can be completed in less then 5 hours, a new Walk-through was posted in Youtube

you will know you messed up your save if you killed a mini boss and charged up your blue laser Omega Beam, if you can only aim in 1 direction or if EMMI ignores you and just sits like a puppy, then go ahead and restart your save

Thanks for the tips. What is the speedfly cheat? I am still waiting for some sort of speed booster cheats. I can't for the life of me spineshark. Having to press the control stick down and run is over complicated and awkward.

I don't think you need it other than getting optional items except getting out of the room when you acquired it.

PS: it is run first and you have plenty of time to press down before it becomes too late.

Totally agree. The flow is quite disjointed. And finding where to go is more of a chore.

Problem is I am stuck. I need to do a spineshark to progress, And I can't pull off the spineshark in this area. There is not enough space. Its just a skill that I have never been able to do. Its is in Artraia and leads to an item that you need to pull blue blocks with.

I have not need spineshark except getting out of the room where it was acquired. I have only used it once to get (I think extra rocket). There is one place where I need to run, need to try it a second time and the distance is about just nice with a small jump before the burst starts. There is also some place where running is needed against fan.

A quick note to people using Metroid Dread cheats, some of them seem to break the game in unseen ways.
i.e. I was using the immune to EMMI and Moon jump and kept getting extreme slowdowns after a few min of play and an eventual crash. My guess is due to a memory leak of some kind cause by my character not behaving the in the way the game expects.

Another problem before the crashing was certain events not triggering even if I'm proceeding like normal, but with cheats enabled, specifically to me was the trap door not triggering after activating the lava flow power conduit.

I was stuck running around for hours, looking up youtube videos thinking I missed some kind of activation switch for the trap door until my game crashed then I went back there without any cheats enabled and bam, the trap door opened like normal.

I hope someday there will be a cheat file with only tested working cheats out there instead of the one I cobbled together from all the various forum posts in here.

I dont know why the people have problems with Metroid Dread (yes because try to use a lot of cheats).
I didnt have any problems with my cheats and the others i said and finish the game with any problem easy and fast.

I didn't use a single cheat all game and I never struggled finding where to go..
It's like the game directs you where you need to go.
Each time you get a new power up, look for an area in the map you haven't been to yet.

I got lost before the lava power activator. This is before cheats were released as well. Didn't even know there was an area over there. I ran around in circles for a good 30 min before looking up a guide.

Finished playing Metroid Dread.

IMO the game miss the mark for a 8/10 game and leaves much to be desired for the missed potential

First off the game is way to hard if not for the cheats. Not the deeply satisfying kind of hard but the wear you down kind of hard.

My game save clock in at 11.5 hours before the final fight. For the content that I saw in that time I think 6 hours would be about right.

There isn't a lot of joy for unlocking ability other than now can move on to the next stage. The upgrades are like keys to open doors. Don't let the number of upgrades available in this game fool you. It might as well be numbered key cards. Oh yeah, there is 12 key cards you have to acquire in this game!

The are some puzzle here and there but they are over shadowed by the anybody could have hide it like that kind.

E.M.M.I killing only have two pattern. After killing the second one I have seen everything already.

Can you explain me how to go in hypervelocity in some zones like this( there is not any possibility to run...

I'm not sure, I don't have any crash experience, had you enable the master code?
