Im like 99% sure you don't need it. I just used 3FFFFFFF on the wii u. As far as I know there were no consequences for this. It worked for all levels. I'm only 99% sure. It was a while ago.

Yes it is for 30 green stars because no other level has more than 30 stars. So even if you use it on the level that has 3 stars. It will still only gave you 3 stars even though you use the code for 30 stars. I'm 99% sure.

The second code with no blinking is awsome, but I don't know why, I played perfectly in the first world, but when I went to the second and hit some thorns, the invincibility dissolved, then I noticed that it seems to me, that only thorns take away the invincibility of your code. Thanks again!

weapons are (for reason unknown to me) separate, but i am working on them as i find them. (so far, i have pointers for 4 out of the 6, 1 is not as important because all it appears to do is refill your sp)

Was there something special about finding the code for "crystals".
I was searching for the code in EdiZon-SE but I was somehow not possible for me to find the adress.
