Hey, thanks for the xcom2 cheats. I just started on this game too.
Do you have some tips/advice for finding cheats in xcom 2? I had tried to do a basic integer search for the in-game currency stuff (supplies, intel, etc). After a few iterations of changing and re-searching for the values there were 0 candidates. It's usually pretty straightforward in other games.

Thanks! XCOM 2 is trickier because it uses UE3’s game-state history. An action can create a new state object instead of updating the original one. Your search may therefore follow an old copy, and repeated filtering can eventually leave zero candidates.
A few tips:
- Try both 32-bit integer and float32 searches. Soldier HP uses ordinary float32 on the paths I inspected, but I haven’t confirmed the storage type for supplies or intel.
- Keep Breeze’s “Use BE” off. Enter normal decimal values; there’s no need to reverse the bytes manually.
- Try a fresh search after changing the resource, rather than only narrowing previous results. The updated value may be in a replacement object.
Once you find a candidate, inspect the surrounding memory to see whether it belongs to a UObject. Add a read watchpoint to see what accesses it. If it is being read, try a small, reversible edit and check whether the display changes. Variables used for live display may respond immediately.
However, a changed display doesn’t prove you modified the authoritative gameplay value. It gives you a useful lead: identify the containing or owning UObject, examine its fields and references, then trace back to the actual resource state.
Also, Breeze’s built-in UE tools currently support UE4 and UE5, while XCOM 2 uses UE3, so those features don’t directly handle this game. Understanding the UObject structures, field names, offsets and history references is therefore especially valuable.
That structural approach was central to finding the combat cheats. Zero search results alone don’t mean the values are encrypted.
