It's not... TubeHax blocks it. If TubeHax ever goes down, then your WiiU simply won't connect to the internet and won't be able to update regardless.
You can also still use the EShop temporarily while using TubeHax, after running the NNU homebrew.

Just to clarify and make sure you're using the proper TubeHax, your DNS on the WiiU should be set to 107.211.140.065

Yes, it looks like it. Secondary is 0.0.0.0

I host on Raspberry Pi and use Squid as a proxy too so I can filter all URL hosts myself and use Tubehax DNS just to be sure. Simples. Very low energy consumption and you can leave on all the time.

And I power the Pi from one of the WiiU USB ports. So when I turn on the WiiU, it boots the Pi. Yes, you have to wait an extra ~30 seconds or so, but that's it.

1, Download HBL 1.1 zip.
2, Put it on compatible micro SD card
3, Download Loadiine + games
3, Put it on same SD card
4, Put SD card into wifi adaptor.
5, Insert wifi adaptor card into wii u
6, Set up wiiu to connect to wifi card hot spot
7, Enter browser and choose the index html witihin WWW folder.
8, after OSDriver success, repeat step 7
9, Select loadiine from HBL.
10, Profit.

EDIT my latest set up is here for download:

sorry to the OP. but I have a couple quick question regarding the info above from KiiWii.

all I see is a folder called selfhost. no WWW folder. will I be creating a www folder when I recieve the EZ share sd card and set it up. and just put the selfhost files into that folder?

(I'm ordering an EZ share today since url blocking is out of the question with my router )

would you recommend the one with the micro SD slot so id have multiple sd cards with games n apps or the 16gb/32gb EZ share without the slot. last thing, do you happen to know if there are faster loading times with cards without the micro readers or if so is it that big of a difference. I know the wiiU only supports transfer speeds of like 10mb/s regardless of card type I could be wrong tho.

again my apologies to ask this on the OP thread.

"WWW" folder == "selfhost" folder: its just a folder name.

The one I use is the one with micro SD slot. I believe the limitation is 32GB SDHC (no SDXC).

I have 4 32gb and several others for testing, but I found this method too:

Put wifi card in PC loaded with kexploit files (if your PC is always on)
Put a second card (even SDXC up to 256gb into wii U)
Load exploit again from hot spot card on wii u browser.
Loadiine loads from Wii U SD slot.

This means hot swap cards, and have bigger cards at same time.

The wifi card doesnt need to be in the wii u if you want to play diff games, it just loads kexploit from there and then redirects to SD slot.
