3D is awesome, but Nintendo hasn't changed their policy on releasing the same game three billion times, so I wouldn't expect very many original games in the future.

pros: mario, mario kart, zelda, every other nintendo franchise, don't need a tv or to sit in one room to play video games.
cons: much smaller game selection, easier to lose, no right thubstick, lower multiplayer ability. need more systems instead of just more controllers and almost no online.

You're getting rid of system with an actual library of games for a system with no proper library of games. Just get a 3DS in a year or so.

Con - You will have no Xbox Live. Now you can't go on CoD and call people fags.

In reality, you're trading a fully developed home console with media extender capabilities (which will soon be getting a sweet dashboard update, I registered for the beta of it and it does not disappoint. Cloud game save storage, anyone?) for a (as of now, at least) half baked handheld with a 3D screen and a fairly unimpressive library (though it is getting much better).

inb4 people say I am being just like Guild. No, I own a 3DS, I love the damn thing, it's sweet as hell. But I can't even describe how annoyed I am to have paid $250 for a system that wasn't and still isn't fully developed. There are still placeholder buttons (3DS to 3DS transfer) as there were from the start (web browser). Nintendo Video is a joke. The eShop is a joke. The current friend system is a joke. The camera, on the other hand, is just shit.

Would I trade the 360 for the 3DS? Not unless you hate the 360 for all it's worth. Pick up a 3DS and keep the 360, though? Yes, I absolutely would, without a doubt.

Selling your 360 for a 3DS is retarded.

First off, that's such a stupid idea. The 3DS has like 2 good games ATM (OoT3D and SM3DL), with only one good game coming out next month (Mario Kart 7). More good games won't be coming out until late Q1/early Q2, so you should wait.

Second, do you have to add the stupid "~" to everything you post? We know you're a weeaboo...No need to flaunt it all. the. fucking. time. In fact, before even looking at the topic (And just seeing the title), I could tell that it was by you.

    Yeah Same ^_^

What he forgot to mention is that

    1. His love of games is dying.
    2. He can't see any 360 games worth it in the future
    3. Like me he probally finds full console games too much now (this is a guess)

The 3DS doesn't have a large library of games yet, and your Xbox does (though most of those are brown shooters, but that's another discussion). Wait until the 3DS has a decent amount of titles before selling your Xbox, make it worth your time.

This. It would be like trading in a DS or PSP to buy a Gizmondo.

    Also, it's spelled wagon.

I knew this was a Skyrix thread when I saw the stupid and useless "~" in the title.

And yes, it's indeed a stupid decision. Wait a year or so and even then, you can probably save up enough money to buy one separately. The 360 already has an established game library.

To be honest you should do what you want. If you want to trade your 360 for a 3DS go ahead and do it. I personally got bored of my 360, so I traded it and all of the games/accessories for around $550 in store credit, which I used to preorder the Vita. There's nothing interesting to me on the 360 anymore that I can't also get on the PS3, so it wasn't hard to say goodbye to it. It's all about what you personally prefer not what others tell you to do.

    Was that a joke...

Not saying I disagree with you, but there is more good games than that...

    @op

Just save money and buy it. It is just $160.
If you have to trade it in, get another console at least...

Not at all. For the most part, Nintendo stopped making original games after the N64.

I could tell this was you just be reading the title.

Anyway, I can't really say much. I have a 3DS, but I never really use the thing for much other than homebrew. The games are pricey and the selection is limited. I bought a PSP and I honestly don't think I've used the thing since. Honestly, I'd just stick with an older DS model. The screens on those things don't get scratched as easily, they're cheaper, and the selection's about the same. Not any real killer apps for the 3DS, so it's not really worth the cash. For now, anyway.
