Gaming Changing region for PSP savegames?

Alright, with the announcement of the MGS Trilogy, specifically PW HD, I decided to DL PW PAL, because I was using the USA version this whole time.
How would I go about changing my savedata's region? I don't want to have to start over.

Here's my file, if someone could convert it's region.

I dont know how to convert it, but i believe you have to change the gameID of the savefile to the european one. As for that i dont know either xD. Its not guaranteed that the savefile with work after that too.
