Hi,
So i already installed psxitarch on ps4 internal HDD (just to test if my ps4 was compatible) but now i want to switch to Fedora or Gentoo because they preform better
should i uninstall psxitarch first (if so then how?) or can i just install the other linux distros directly ?
Thanks

On a desktop/notebook usually you don't need to remove it before installing a new distribution over it, on the installation disk should you find an option to format the partition (I've only experience with the Debian install tools tho), on the PS4 the installation script should anyway ask which partition to format so it shouldn't be a problem.

I don't know about Fedora or Gentoo, but with Debian you can install it from inside the running distribution. In your case I would say it's probably less troublesome to start from scratch, anyway for the curious reader: https://wiki.debian.org/Debootstrap
