so, I have decided to install a cfw on my old ps3 slim. I’ve a few questions about it, though:
1 Before installing the CFW, I plan to deactivate my main account from the PS3. However, suppose Sony finds out I’ve hacked my console, is it possible for them to ban not only the system but also the previously deactivated account?
2 I also plan on buying a new ps3, which I don’t ever intend to hack. Suppose Sony bans my older console, could that also pose a threat to the newer system — considering, for instance, how they would both share the same internet connection? Most likely a far-fetched idea, but I’d rather be safe than sorry.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
