The n3DS is very quiet with headphones. My neighbours are assholes. Is there a way to bump up the audio past Nintendo's very conservative levelling available to CFW users?

You have headphone options https://gbatemp.net/threads/hardwar...volume-of-your-3ds-some-models-so-far.400221/ albeit, a hardmod option. other than that. I dont believe theres any way. other than using a aux cable to a powerful stereo system.
Also depending on which headphones you are already using getting some with a lower impedance might help. Other than that you could look into a powered headphone amp to put between the 3DS and your headphones
