Hacking CFW for a banned Switch

Recently i restored my NAND because i regretted downloading CFW to my console and unfortunately big N banned me (probably fucked up the emuMMC part while doing it for the first time) so i am doing CFW for my console again and selling to a friend of mine.

My question is : Do i need to setup emuMMC for a banned console ? since it's already banned i don't think it will have a purpose. also my friend isn't tech-savvy at all so i don't want him to deal with these things lol

you don't need emuMMC if you're already banned. you can do it but it's not that different anymore.
