[FIXED]
The problem was beign caused by an EFI partition on the HDD, some of pre-built HDD's like Toshiba/Samsung and stuff got that partition, you need to get rid off it.

Run cmd.exe
DISKPART
LIST DISK
SELECT DISK X (the one you want to use)
CLEAN
EXIT

Reformatted and everything works!

I've been Googling around and still nothing can solve my problem.

I have a channel forwarded for cfgusbloader and it does load. But I can't save my settings and it always asks me to choose the right partition.

When i try to save settings it says sd:/ is not accessible and ofc it isn't, cause i'm booting thru usb.

What i have tried:

- Put config.txt in all my folders and on hdd root.
- Reinstall the forwarder
- Downgrade to v69

Nothing helps.

I have no problem playing games at all but settings are screwed.

Anyone?

In the cfg loader folder on your root (not in the apps folder), do have a part that says:

# device
device = usb
partition=FAT1

Make sure the FAT1 (or it might be FAT32 for USB), is capitalized because I had the same problem as you because I had it in lower case.

I have that already, doesnt help at all. Just in case i have a config file in all the folders.
None of them load, at all. Pic from my tv attached. Looks like its just ignoring the config file.

That's what I was getting on each startup. I'll give you my version and config.txt and see if it then works for you. Only difference is I'm using an SD card instead of USB, so that's the only thing you'll need to change.

Version: cfg70r61t2.dol
Download near the bottom of here: https://code.google.com/p/cfg-loader-mod/issues/detail?id=110

Replace the .dol in the apps folder.

Now, on the root of your drive, in the cfg loader folder, copy the config.txt and paste/replace the config.txt in apps/cfg loader.

Then, in the config.txt, make sure it says:

# device
device = USB
partition=FAT1

Or try

# device
device = USB
partition=NTFS1

It depends how your HDD is formatted.

For the record, I actually deleted the cfg loader folder on the root and just have cfg loader in the apps folder, it doesn't NEED the root folder.

Still doesn't work. For some reason looks like the sd:/ is locked down and no matter what I do i just can't set the right patch or put it to save the configuration on my HDD.
