Hacking CD-RW Burned Iso question

Is it possible to run a CD-RW which has a burned iso to it from the Disc Channel?


The Reason I want to do this is because my regular MKWII disc broke and I had the iso taken from the Wii before it happened.. And if you know what CTGP 1.03 is, you can only have it installed via real disc.

So is it possible?

mkwii might not fit in a cd? Aren't CDs max 700 MB? Also you would need an older wii. I think one made before 2009.

Then yes you will be fine. I've never done this. But I think you need special cios to be able to run them from disc channel. The app pimp my wii had a setup wizard which gives you the option if i remember correctly.

I'm pretty sure you won't be able to run it from the Wii's Disc Channel. Maybe from a loader like USB Loader GX, CFG USB Loader, or WiiFlow. You'll have to set up at least a cIOS first. I'd recommend just running it from an USB HDD at that point, anyway.

Oh yeah, forgot about the restrictions of that modpack. I'm pretty sure you won't be able to get it to work with a burned disc without some sort of modchip. Give it a try, but don't get your hopes up.
