Maybe a hack will show in the lightning talks like a few years back with the King Kong exploit.

We've pretty much conquered the Wii since last year and are currently looking on to the Nintendo DSi and the 3DS.

But seriously why is everyone expecting a hack so quickly? CCIs were only recently dumped in (relatively) large quantity, and save files still have at least 1 elusive checksum, if not more...and save files have always been a hacker's primary way in. A chance would be if neimod went and presented his 3DS RAM dumper but that's a stretch because he hasn't had a lot of time to do much.

The second I saw this thread, I thought, "OH NOEZ, IF NINTY, SONY, AND MICROFAIL SEE THIS, THEY'LL GO ALL APESHIT AND CALL THE COPS AND SUE THE HACKZORZ THEN GET SUED FOR ATTEMPTING TO ARREST PEOPLE DISREGARDING THEIR RIGHTS AND THEN - wait, that won't be so bad. that information is old that is what they did last year, and the console stuff usually happens at the lightining talks , there is a schedule for the other hacking talks but the lightning talks do not have a schedule where you can go and look at the topics and descriptions of the talks that are planned ,there are 4 i think 1 for each day of the conference, and no this not just a consloe hacking conference it is about computer security and hacking in general its the chaos communication congress and they talk about lots of issues ,like political and social ramifications and laws pertaining to computers, computer security ,and hacking, and there has been console hacking talks given in past years at these "lightning talks" but this year we have not heard any rumors or anouncements yet, like last year when rumors had surfaced about the ps3 security "epic fail" the rumors were that there woul be some major ps3 announcement which turned out to be the epic fail,or so called epic fail that sony would never be able to re lock down ps3 again, so far sony is still ahead of the game ,or more so than the talks implied they would be, before the talks last year we only had ps groove and ps freedom and required a device for jailbreaking , they used geohots hypervisor dumps and ram glitch to find the signing fail that allowed geohot to use it and to give us an installable cfw and not have to use a jb device anymore such as a dongle, ti-86 calculator ,cell phone, ipod,,etc..
and it is also where team twizzers had unveiled the twizzer attack on the wii in a previous years lightning talk, and then the next year after that they talked about the twilight hack or whatever ,the progression was to the next level of wii hacking i dont remember the timeline off hand now,,anyways there have been no major announcement as of yet about any new console exploits and i have not heard any rumors about what,if anything will be revealed in the console department this year , so we will just have to wait and hope that failoverflow or others will have something good for us at the lightning talks this year, 3 more days to go

im not sure what that page behind enemy ines with the console stuff is about cause i cant find it on the original site of the site where the schedule for this years talks are for some reason, is it fake? or just last years info ,or what?
