He ran in to some problems with some DirectX parts and eventually found someone else who had a much better working copy of his code in a few days, so they are working together, but we haven't heard anything of it in a long time (Months).

Reason for the "fuck yeah" is this is what I hoped for with WiiWare, indie devs being able to launch games on this and we've already seen that if a game is good on WiiWare, it will do well so I'm hoping that this does do well.

And a new English translation! Yay.

Gonna guess the game will be...800-1000 Nintendo Points. Yeah.

New (official) English translation I can see, but "new character designs" makes me wonder...I actually rather loved how everyone looked in the original game, and that was part of the game's charm. If they've changed "TV Man" Balrog, I'm going to be pissed!

Pixel (the creator of the original) is involved in the project and the "new designs" are all made by him.. so, I think everything will stay very faithful to the original..

This game is above and beyond most of what you will find in retail. Entirely developed by ONE GUY.
This game long deserved to be on a console, and now it will be. I just hope corporate developers can learn something from Amayasan.
