Cave Story Engine 2 for the Nintendo Switch

Cave Story Engine 2 is a decompilation of Cave Story. This means that this is an accurate port of the original release. Unlike NXEngine, CSE2 is directly made from the original source instead of being a re-implementation. This does not contain any of the additional features found in CS+. And now, it's on the Switch!

    Controls
    B: Jump
    Y: Shoot
    Bumpers + Triggers: Next/Prev Weapon
    Plus: Items
    Minus: Map
    Analog Stick/D-Pad: Move

    Nice.
Somehow down keypress is not working for using/searching, Quote looks down when jumping and pressing down, but it's impossible to save/exit the first screen, etc.
    FW 9.0.1, AMS 0.10.1

Weird. It is working for me. I just left the first screen, the save and Life/Ammo refill worked. As well as exiting the door. I am running FW 8.0.1 (AMS 0.8.8) and still using the Hekate 4.10.1 Payload.

EDIT:: Thank You very much HeyHeyItsJoeWay! I'll play through and let you know if I find any bugs. Might take me a minute to get through Hell though.

Can confirm, down on the d-pad and analog stick doesn't work.
I'm using Atmosphere v0.10.1 with hekate v5.1.1 on firmware 8.1.0.

The down not working happened to me once while I was testing, but I thought it was just a random fluke. I'll have to take a look at what's going on then. For those that had the bug: did it start happening when you docked the Switch or woke up from sleep? Also, what controller are you using?

EDIT: GitHub issue, if anyone can provide more feedback: https://github.com/heyjoeway/Cave-Story-Engine-2/issues/1

So I guess release builds cause looking to just stop working? Replaced the release zip with a debug build for now. Let me know if you've still got issues. Obviously I'll still have to get to the root of the problem later.
