There's nothing about this specific series of Cavalry in the USB Devices list. A portable Cavalry (the CAUP) has been marked as working with no details, while a desktop model (the CAUE) has been marked non-working with Backup Loaders or Homebrew. I wouldn't take either of these marks too seriously since they were edited without any details
The drive appears relatively normal and is confirmed to have no auto-spindown functionality, so I would guess that it will work fine for any Wii purpose, although you'll have to manually unplug or switch it off when not in use. Just an educated guess.
