Hacking Cate West and USB Loader

I'm using a WD Passport and transferred Cate West via pc to the HDD. During dialogue scenes it randomly crashes (with an ear-splitting noise) and if you can get into a 'picture find' level, it works until you finish the level and it starts to load a new one then crashes on a black screen. Can someone else test Cate West for me? It's showing .29gb of space after transfer (scrubbed size).

Also, does anyone know how to disable spindown on a WD Passport? The site says you can't but there should be some way...

Until someone finds a way to modify the USB Loader to keep an active connection to the drive... there is nothing that I'm aware of to resolve this, as the spindown is built into the USB Enclosure itself. I have the same issue, however, mine is a normal WD Internal IDE with an after market enclosure.... same thing happens to me.
