Hacking can't update

i just bought a ps vita on fw 3.67 and trying to update to 3.68 so i can use Hencore but my ps vita is saying i have the latest firmware when i don't. i've tried a factory reset and updating through safe mode but it hasn't worked. thanks in advance

There is no reason to update.
you should instead downgrade to 3.65 to get enso.

i just found out to use modoru i need to have Hencore installed and to do that i need to be on fw 3.68 so im back where i started

Think you can use QCMA to upgrade to 3.68 and then do the downgrade back down to 3.65 or even 3.60

Try doing a clean wipe if you don't mind losing data, seem like something is causing it to think you are on other firmware.

Well he has to go to 3.68 first before he can even downgrade, but he can follow the guide you linked, it mention about using QCMA to update.
