Hacking Cant open System Settings

Hey,
im very new to this and followed the this guide https://3ds.guide/homebrew-launcher-(soundhax)
and followed it to the end.
Now i got Luma3DS installed but i cant get into System Settings anymore its just stuck on the Nintendo 3DS splash screen. Is this normal or can i fix this some how?

And one more question can i update in system settings if i get there somehow without messing up everything? Because i need the newest version to access the eShop i think i need 11.0 to start Pokemon Moon

I got the N3DS XL (EU) if you need more information just tell me and explain how i can get that information

Can you update from recovery mode? Turn the power on while holding L+R+up arrow+A for a few seconds

That is built into the Nintendo firmware. Nintendo designed it. Apparently the people at Nintendo have ten meter long fingers lol
