Hardware Can't install WADs through USB or SDHC, only SD?

I'm using Waninkoko's IOS 249 rev17 and Hermes v4 and it won't let me install wads through USB or SDHC, only SD cards.

My wii is version 4.1u and I'm using WAD Manager 1.5. I've also tried using WAD Manager 1.4 and it doesn't work either.

I just get ret = -1 errors when I try to install from SDHC or USB.

I can use my USB drive for everything else, NAND emulation, USB Loader, emulators, etc. Just not WAD installation.
