It doesn't work if you try to inject ntr boot you need to restore using the modified back up
I already got NTRBoot working on the R4 SDHC Gold Pro 2016 cart a couple days ago. If you're flashing the R4i B9S backup you probably need to use the one without the sanity check otherwise it might not write the flash dump due to the backups not being from the exact same card.

The flasher is here I forgot it as well, use the backup in the other post to install NTRBoot

How exactly do i use the backup? It's a .bin file. Should i use some sort of b9s to a9lh chainloader, or do i launch it some other way.

EDIT: nvm these are the backup files. Backed my own up anyway. It succeeded in making the backup so im assuming it'll work

Put the modified ntrboot_flasher.firm in the payloads folder of Luma, then replace the backup.bin with the modified one I gave you. Restore the card using the modified backup.bin and it should restore it and flashing NTRBoot to the flash card.

What if you don't already have a hacked 3ds?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

i flashed my 2014 card and it works
but my r4 is from www.r4isdhc.com
I keep hearing so many things about my clone I don't know what to believe, some say it's ACE3DS Plus clone, some say it's DSTT Clone, some say it's not R4i SDHC it's R4 SDHC and to keep waiting. The newest a2ki flasher .nds file didn't work for me so I guess I keep waiting :(

a current gen i5 is plenty, next is RAM size, and then GPU depending on the kinda setting and game you play

    @K3Nv2 why the G-series?
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
On board graphics it'll just be a ps3 emu machine

easier to troubleshoot? or gpu comes later?
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Won't need a GPU with G series for emulation

It's equivalent to a gt 560 which should be enough for ps3

    I won't need to hack a 360 @BigOnYa :tpi:

well, if you get a gud enuf PSU, you could futureproof it incase you actually need the gpu down the line

very gud case, but make sure you have the kinda PSU with very flexible cables

i know people with this exact case
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    Nah hog tie the cables
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I'd like one with support for a couple 3.5" bays though
  • ZeroT21 @ ZeroT21:
not that, some psu like those corsair rm series stock cables have very big knicks that make it impossible to fit in there
  • ZeroT21 @ ZeroT21:
my friend had to order some custom cables for it
