Misc Can't connect to GTS

Hey, I've been trying to connect to the GTS in gens 4 and 5 for the DS, but I keep getting error code 13274 for gen 5 and a vague communication error on the gen 4 games. Every other feature of theses games seem to work just fine except the GTS. I even tried Mario Kart DS and Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and had a match with another person on MKDS. I've used two dns and still haven't got it to work. I've been trying out a couple different DS's and settled on the 3DS for now. Right now my router is setup with both a encrypted and unencrypted network, and in the past, that seemed to just fine. I'm just trying to trade for the version exclusives but no luck.

Hey, i'm not sure how the router method works but i think it should be WEP and no password. I personally setup a Hotspot on my phone, also you need to enter the custom DNS in the DS connection settings on the 3DS.
