Hacking Cant boot into SysNAND

Hi,

as the title states I can't get into my SysNAND anymore (or forgot how to get into it). Since I didn't touched my 3ds in the last months I don't remember everything in detail anymore.

Some details:
* o3DS
* SysNAND should be 4.5
* EmuNAND 11.0.0-33E
* Gateway3ds with fastboot/a9lh (followed the official guide from gateway-3ds.com)

I've tried holding nearly every button while powering on but always the 3ds boots into the EmuNAND. Only when I press R+Power it tries to upgrade the flashcard. But that's it. I don't even get into the GW menu anymore.
I don't know if the A9LH to B9S guide ( https://3ds.guide/a9lh-to-b9s ) will help me here or even if it's save with GW. Hopefully someone could help me here.

Background: As gateway doesn't seem to get updates anymore I've bought a R4i which should be shipped soon. But before I do anything, I would like to have a "clean as possible" 3ds and want to be sure the SysNAND is working.

Do you have a NAND backup from before you installed fastboot? If so, have it on your SD card called NAND.bin and boot into the Gateway menu by having the Gateway card not inserted when you start it up. Hold Up over the downgrade menu item and select it. That will restore your backup. You can then follow https://3ds.guide. I don't think the a9lh to b9s guide will help, as you won't be able to run payloads as you can't run Luma.

I don't know for sure, but installing b9s with ntrboot usng your R4i might be dangerous with Gateway fastboot installed. I would wait for advice/confirmation from experts before doing it.

No, I don't have my NAND backup anymore. I had a huge data loss... :-/

Edit: Got into my sysNAND. I've just moved every files onto a new sd card, so GW can't boot into emuNAND.

Next question: If I update my sysNAND, will the fastboot/a9lh be overwritten? And is it safe to update to the newest firmware or should I keep my 4.5.0-8E?

I've managed to remove Gateways fastboot and install Luma3DS with my new R4i.

First I've tried to flash ntrboot on the R4i which didn't work. Neither from sysNAND (4.5) nor emuNAND (11.0). I decided to give it a try and updated my sysNAND to the newest firmware. Result: Fastboot fully removed and everything was working fine while following 3ds.guide.

Also I've learned from future mistakes and saved my sysNAND backup to more than one HDD.
