PS1/2 cannot advance in GTA4

Hi all, i'm at a point in GTA4 where i can't advance, i have two contact points on the map, the mystery contact down by the odcks or playboy x, but when i go and walk into either of these arrows (mission trigger point) Nothing happens... i tried reloading, doing something secondary like a date or play a game and come back, no godd :S anyone knows about this?

I don't know if this would appear as you describe, but didn't you turn the sleep mode on?

The sleep mode, in the cell phone options, keeps all the story mode in stand by.

I don't think it's sleep mode, because he has said he tried secondary missions and those take the phone out of sleep mode. Did you try calling Playboy X or anyone else for a mission, honestly other than that all I can say is you have a glitched game.

yeah i called everyone on my list, i stole a car for Brucie by e-mail, all kind of stuff, my phone isin't on sleep mode either, i do think too i have a glitched game, i guess i really needed a second opinion
