Apparently Nintendo said it will show an error code when you access Miiverse (http://bit.ly/2xJpr2j) so will that interfere with the ability to redirect with DNS/Proxy?

There's no way to redirect with DNS/Proxy anyway, the URLs have to be redirected by patching them. I wouldn't think that the message would be too big of a problem though, seeing as it was added in 5.5.2 it probably would be fixable by downgrading whatever file added it.
